School Days

Ugh...what a hectic week. My life is full of school right now and it's getting on my nerves. This week is especially bad. Just got done with a midterm yesterday for International Relations and now I have to deal with a test and an oral presentation today. On top of that, I have a Model United Nations conference at UCSB this weekend...along with an essay for English due Monday and a quiz and response question for Political Theory on Sunday. Thankfully, I find at least SOME time to hang out with friends and do nothing. On the plus side, Thanksgiving break is almost here.

Makings of the Band

So...Apparently, last night my friend discovered that I play an instrument. Low an behold, not just any instrument, but the drums. Now, you may be asking, "What about it?" Well, apparently, I also discovered that he plays the guitar. With the combined processing power of both of our brains combined, we decided that we should make a band. Not just any band, but THE Band. Now, we're both a bit rusty since we haven't played in a week or two, but I'm fairly certain that we'd definitely be able to make at least a one-hit wonder before becoming obscure. Oh, we're looking for a good bassist, a second guitarist, and a person that can play keyboards and the organ out there. So if you're in the area, please contact my good friend Silly Hats.
